FASD NH envisions a community where all babies are born alcohol free…and a community that embraces, honors, and empowers individuals prenatally exposed to alcohol and their families. We envision building bridges that connect and unify professionals, individuals prenatally exposed to alcohol, families, and community members in New Hampshire.
FASD NH is committed to providing support for individuals and families affected by FASD and creating collaborative partnerships resulting in empowering our New Hampshire community to understand FASD
FASD NH educates New Hampshire communities including the public, health and social service providers, legal and education systems and policymakers about alcohol use during pregnancy and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) with the goal of improving prevention, early identification and intervention for those affected and supports individuals and families affected by FASD.
FASD NH is passionate about raising community awareness and education regarding Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD). FASD is an umbrella term describing the range of effects which can occur in individuals who were prenatally exposed to alcohol. There is no known safe amount of alcohol to consume during pregnancy.
